In Part 2 of our "God Is..." series, Pastor Daniel Stevens explores what it means that God is light, and Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Through passages in 1 John and the Gospel of John, we discover that light isn't simply something God provides, it's who He is. There is no darkness in Him, and His light is so powerful that darkness cannot overcome it. When Jesus declared Himself the light of the world, He revealed something incredible about His divine nature and His power to bring us out of darkness.
Jesus isn't just one possible way to God. He IS the way, the truth, and the life! As we connect these truths throughout Scripture, we discover that real life is found in knowing Him and drawing closer to His presence. No matter what darkness we may face, God is the answer. Join us as we continue discovering who God truly is and what it means to experience His light and life in our everyday lives.
