God Is... // Part 2: God is Light (Pastor Mike Jurek)

In Part 2 of our "God Is..." series, Pastor Mike Jurek explores the powerful truth that God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. Through Scripture, we discover that light isn't just something God provides, it's part of His very nature. When Jesus declared Himself the light of the world, He revealed that He is the promised Messiah, the One who brings hope into a dark world. Darkness can never overcome His light, and no matter how overwhelming life may seem, Jesus is the answer.
But God's nature doesn't stop there. Jesus also declares that He is the way, the truth, and the life. He isn't simply one path among many, but the only way to the Father. His truth exposes darkness, and His presence brings real life. As we grow in our understanding of who God is, we're reminded that the answer to life's darkness isn't found in our own strength, but in drawing closer to Jesus, the source of all light, truth, and life.
