In 1 Corinthians 15, Pastor Mike Jurek explores one of the foundational truths of the Christian faith: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus did not simply escape death. He defeated it. His physical resurrection from the grave gives us the hope and promise that death is not the end for those who put their faith in Him.
Our earthly bodies are temporary, but through Christ we have the promise of resurrection and eternal life. One day, what is perishable will become imperishable, and believers will be changed. The empty tomb reminds us that Jesus is alive, death has been defeated, and our hope for eternity is found in Him.
