In Part 11 of our 1 Corinthians series, Pastor Daniel Stevens challenges us to look beyond our actions and consider what is really happening in our hearts. God sees beyond the hurt, shame, pride, and false identities we may hide behind. One day our motives will be revealed, so the question becomes: what will God find in our hearts?
As we walk through 1 Corinthians 4, we’re reminded that everything we have, from our abilities to our understanding of God, has been received from Him. Rather than allowing pride or self-judgment to define us, we are called to examine ourselves, leave the final verdict to God, and faithfully steward what He has entrusted to us. Following Christ means keeping a humble and tender heart, even when it costs us something, because knowing Christ is worth more than anything we could gain for ourselves.
