In this message from 1 Corinthians 4, Pastor Mike Jurek challenges us to take a closer look at the motives of our hearts. What we invest our time, attention, and resources in can reveal what truly matters to us. While Scripture calls us to examine ourselves, we are not called to condemn ourselves. God alone is the judge, and through Jesus, His grace and mercy can expose the shame, guilt, and false identities we carry so that healing can begin.
As God entrusts us with His Word, gifts, and opportunities, we are called to steward them faithfully and with humility. Everything we have ultimately comes from Him, leaving no room for pride. When we allow God to examine our hearts and pursue Christ above everything else, we can begin to see ourselves through His eyes. For those who belong to Him, the verdict is not condemnation, but identity: you are His child, His son, His daughter, His beloved.
