In Part 8 of our 1 Corinthians series, Pastor Daniel Stevens explores the freedom from sin that Jesus offers us. Being born again means leaving behind our old ways, allowing Christ to transform how we see the world, and becoming the people God has called us to be. Jesus offers freedom from our guilt, our hurts, and the power sin can have over our future.
Pastor Daniel Stevens explains that Christian freedom isn’t about legalism, but it also isn’t permission to live however we want. We are called to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, glorify God in what we do, and consider the impact our choices have on those around us. When temptation comes, God provides a way out, and His grace and forgiveness are always available as we continue learning to walk in freedom.
