In this message, Pastor Mike Jurek introduces a new series exploring The Full Armor of God from Ephesians 6:10–20, beginning with the Belt of Truth. Scripture teaches that believers are engaged in a spiritual battle, but God has not left us defenseless. Pastor Mike explains that putting on the armor of God goes beyond words. It means living out the transformation God has done in us and allowing His truth to guide every part of our lives.
The Belt of Truth reminds us that our spiritual stability begins with truth. When we believe and walk in God’s truth, we are able to resist the enemy’s lies and stand firm during difficult times. However, when we allow twisted truth or deception to influence our thinking, it opens the door for the enemy’s attacks. Pastor Mike encourages believers to examine their hearts, reject the lies they may be holding onto, and embrace the life-giving truth of Jesus. As we do, we grow stronger and more equipped to live faithfully in the spiritual battle.
