In Part 7 of We Walk by Faith, Pastor Celia Gauthier encourages us to actively “fight the good fight of the faith.” Through Paul’s words to Timothy, we see that faith is something we must pursue with intention. Even when we feel unsure or inadequate, God still calls us forward, reminding us that confidence comes from Him, not from ourselves.
The story of the Israelites at the Promised Land highlights the difference between fear and faith. Caleb and Joshua chose to believe God’s promise, while others focused on obstacles and backed away. That same tension exists in our lives today. We’re not called to observe from a distance, but to step into what God is asking of us. When we trust Him, speak faith, and move forward despite fear, we begin to live out the purpose He’s placed on our lives.
