In “We Walk by Faith // Part 5: Words of Faith,” Pastor Mike Stevens shares how faith grows when believers not only trust what God has spoken but also declare it with their words. The Christian life begins with faith and continues the same way. As we hear God’s promises in Scripture, we are called to believe them in our hearts and speak them with confidence, rather than allowing our circumstances to shape what we say.
Pastor Mike Stevens reminds us that our words carry great power. Scripture teaches that the tongue can guide the direction of our lives, which means what we speak can either strengthen faith or weaken it. By guarding our hearts and choosing words that agree with God’s promises, we position ourselves to live by faith and encourage those around us to do the same.
